This tutorial provides instructions on how to upload videos to Youtube or Bliptv!
***If you do not have a YouTube account, click here to create one!***
***If you do not have a Bliptv account, click here to create one!***
(ONCE YOU HAVE saved YOUR VIDEO TO YOUR PORTABLE STORAGE DEVICE, log into EITHER YouTube OR Bliptv.)
To Upload to Bliptv:
1. After logging in, click the Upload tab at the top of the page.
2. Title your episode and add a description if you choose to do so.
3. Browse for your file. (Note: The file you upload will be converted to a Flash Video to allow viewing online, but visitors will always be able to choose between Flash and your original format. If you wish for your video to be viewed in other formats, you must select the “add additional format”, select the format you want from the drop down menu, then browse for your alternative file).
4. Click Upload at the bottom of the page.
5. Wait a few minutes for the process to fully load and then enjoy! (Easy Right!!)
Other upload options available might be to upload directly from your phone. If this is something you’d wish to do in YouTube. You must create a profile first. To learn more about uploading videos from your mobile device, click here!
To Upload to YouTube:
1. After logging into your YouTube account, click “upload” at the top of the page. (Note: If you don’t see this, simply click on your username at the top of the page. You should be directed specifically to the home of your personal site and see the upload option at the top of the screen now).
2. Once you have done #1, fill in the requirements (title, description, and tags), used to identify your video.
3. Make sure “public by default” is your broadcast option, this way anyone can view your video.
4. Click the tab “upload a video“. (Note: Some videos are limited to 10 minutes only, or 1024MB).
5. Wait, (this might take a while), but once the process is fully loaded, you can watch your video on YouTube or even copy and paste the code to have it embedded into one of your blog sites! Enjoy!
